Birthday Thoughts & Reflections
Let’s take a minute to discuss how I'm entering this new year of life.
Hi all! So today is my birthday (woot!). I love reflecting on the past year: the experiences I’ve had, my growth, and the lessons I’ve learned. As I spend this day resting, reflecting, and thanking God for a new year, I want to take it back to a few years ago around this same time.
I was going through many life transitions at once: the main one was that I wasn’t satisfied with my current role and decided to leave and transition into a more creative field. Now, not having a job in one of the most expensive places in the country was definitely not something I took lightly. However, during this time I learned so much about myself, my grit, and what I could do. Ultimately, I landed on my feet and the seeds planted during that time are blooming to this day.
The same way I felt then, I feel now. Yet, with more wisdom, more clarity, more purpose. I don’t know what the future holds, but what I do know is that I found my groove. I know I put in the hours. I know that I’m really excited about what I’m creating. I know that I feel steady, solid, and sure.
Nothing is perfect, and I’ll have my low moments. But as long as I:
Live.
Create.
Tell the Story.
Repeat.
I’ll find my way.
We’re kicking off K.I.M. in April with new tech tips and case studies, but check out a few of my favorite tweets with gems to close out my birthday month.

P.S.: What do I want for my birthday? That one thing you have been thinking about or wanting to try: take a small, actionable step towards it. You’ll be surprised what can happen once you start.
